GREECE TRAVEL PHOTOS AND PERSONAL UPDATE

Greece photos

Summer… my favourite season of the year. Yet it’s so short, it almost hurts. Every year summer comes around, I make sure to enjoy every moment, spending as much time outside as possible doing summer activities.

This is why I haven’t written a new blog post in a couple of months! I simply don’t have the desire to spend all my hours behind a computer screen during warm summer days.

Plus… there has been a lot going on in my personal life lately, which I’m about to share with you.

First of all, I went on vacation to Greece in May. And boy am I glad I made it there before the country started burning all over. How sad.

I was lucky enough to enjoy perfect weather while I was there with my husband, James.

Of course, as a photographer, I don’t go anywhere without my camera. And here are some photos I took while there:

And if you want to see more of my travel photography, you’re welcome to check out my hobby portfolio here.

As for my second piece of news… I’m pregnant with twins! This also happened in May and has been consuming my mind more than anything else these days. Dealing with my changing body and happiness that it finally happened… well, it’s a huge deal!

If you follow me on social media, you might have seen me sharing my story about fertility struggles over many years. Basically, it took me 12 years to finally get pregnant so I consider this a miracle pregnancy. It also means I’ll be a bit of an older mom but I’m learning to accept things as they are because everything happens for a reason. Doesn’t it?

What does this mean for my photography business?

I am still booking photo sessions for as long as I can but come winter, I’ll be on a bit of a mat leave to adjust to life with new babies. I don’t have exact dates for anything yet, I’m just going to take it step by step as things arise. I hope to return to shooting in the Spring of 2024.

In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to book your photo session while I still have availability.
